The solo puzzle mode in the River Wild expansion is what sold me — I've played it five nights straight after work. Matching each animal to its habitat tile is oddly calming, and the whole thing fits in my jacket pocket.

The way each card forces you to balance your river against the wildlife scoring takes a few rounds to click, but once it does, every turn feels like a tiny puzzle.
