Terrariums are works of living art, lush worlds cradled within glass walls. Use care to cultivate and protect your fragile environment.

Caring for a terrarium takes time and energy, even without a pesky critter chewing on your hard work! Take care of your freshly-planted succulents by moving them around to develop the resources they need. As the critter advances, it wreaks havoc on your miniature garden. Limit its damage while still growing your plants as high as you can manage to earn the title of Master Gardener!

EXPANSION:

Centerpieces (3 Critter Cards, 3 Centerpiece Cards)

Make your terrarium really sparkle by introducing a centerpiece plant. Be warned: these unusual plants bring equally unusual critters.

This 6-card expansion introduces 3 new Centerpiece plants as well as 3 new Critter cards. You may use either a Centerpiece or a new Critter separately, or you can add one of each.

To include one of the new Centerpiece plants, simply add it above the center position of the top row. You must grow the Centerpiece before the game ends by arranging plants in the terrarium in a specific pattern. Once the pattern is formed, the Centerpiece is grown by flipping it over and resolving its effect, after which it is considered completed.

When using a new Critter card, it replaces any other Critter card and acts using the same core rules for movement. Each of the new Critters has its own method of dealing damage, as well as a constant effect that restricts your actions regarding certain plants.

Ruby ★★★★★

The art on these terrarium cards is gorgeous, and the delicate balance of cultivating versus protecting your glass garden makes every turn tense in the best way. It plays in about 20 minutes, so my partner and I usually run two rounds back to back.

Penelope Q. ★★★★★

The terrarium-building loop is so meditative that I lost an entire evening just pruning leaves and checking for glass cracks. It’s rare for a wallet game to make me genuinely care about a tiny plant world, but the fragile balance between growth and neglect keeps pulling me back.

Richard ★★★★★

The daily watering and leaf-trimming loop feels genuinely calming, not like a chore. I love how the glass walls make every tiny sprout visible as you carefully tend it.
